Yugma: no-cost web-conferencing!
Many of us have attended Webex Webinars but do not have the ability to host one of our own. Yugma is a new product that allows you to host an event for up to 10 users (of either platform) for no-cost!
The audio component is being re-done, but you can always use Skype for the audio portion. Give it a try with some colleagues or friends!

Kathy,
Thank you for this information as I've been playing with GatherPlace which is relatively inexpensive ($29 per month) but you can't beat free!
This type of software is very beneficial for "just in time" training.
Do you know if it allows you to remotely control another computer? Gather Place does allow that which is also a cool feature for offering training or tech support when needed.
The FREE version of Yugma does not allow you to remotely control another computer. Yugma does offer a Premium service as well (which is only $9.95 per month) and it will allow you to control another computer. Yugma is awesome and is the least expensive of the ones I have seen.
Kathy,
I was playing with a Webx type open source resource called webhuddle. You may wish to take a look at it.

Those are very good tools, however, in many cases those platforms are used just to allow the team to review the same document together in real-time and "be on the same page".
The recently launched free site http://www.showdocument.com does exactly that, quickly show documents to friends and colleagues.
It allows Free Web meeting and co-browsing on any document, user uploads a document and invites friends to view it with him live
All the participants in the session see each others' drawing, highlights, etc.
