This beautiful area began over a hundred years ago.  Amos Otis planted elms along both sides of what is now Route 6A, also known as "Old King's Highway".

This road in Yarmouth is only a few blocks away from Otis's home. Hallet's Drugstore, (where you can still get an ice cream soda) can be seen through the trees.
