This mysterious, odd-looking house is found on Bridge Road in Eastham. It was built in 1830 for Captain Jonathan Sherman. At one point you could have a wonderful view of Wellfleet Harbor, especially from the unique
cupola on its roof. A flat-roofed house like this one is
almost impossible to find on Cape Cod.

It is now an inn called "The Whalewalk Inn", and is a popular place for tourists to stay.
