At t hese sites you will find new car summaries, profiles and/or reviews. Autofinder at Autosite helps you select models based on body type, engine, price, and options. Simply type in your selection criteria. The Face-Off feature of this site allows you to compare models side by side. Dealernet affords you a similar option.Financenter and Car and Driver magazine also allow you to search for vehicles by preselected criteria.
Once you have narrowed your choice to two or three models visit one of the online showrooms provided by the maufacturer(s) of the cars/trucks you wish to purchase. Online showrooms may be reached through the Auto Manufactures section of the Kelley Blue Book site, at Car and Driver magazine, and through Autoconnect. You will find that some of the manufacturers home pages (ex: The Chevy Spot) include reviews in newspapers and magazines which may be accessed through the library. Remember that the maufacturers are not likely to present impartial and unbiased profiles of the different models they produce.
